reflection

I learned a lot about Thomas Jefferson in this project. His accomplishment, life, interest, and more. I'm glad that I picked Thomas Jefferson as my ''president project''. Thomas Jefferson is really different from me. He likes to read and study more about political, but I am totally opposite, I like to play instead of studying and I like to be lazy just most of the kids. Learning about Thomas Jefferson kind of make me want to get busy with my works and stuff. It's really cool to know that he wrote the declaration of Independence, and he is also against slavery. I think Thomas Jefferson is the greatest president! If he is still alive today, then I'll ask him for his signature!

I lived at shadwell, the family farm in virginia. At that time, Virginia was one of the thirteen American colonies ruled by England. When I was two, my family and I moved to a house on a tobacco plantation [ a large farm]. I learned how to hunt and ride a horse.

If this person had opposition, who were the person's foes?

Our enemy is the England. I wrote the Declaration of Independence, so we can win our freedom. I also tried to make a law that would not allow slavery in new state. But they don't agree. So that's how the whole revolutionary war begin. It would last for eight years. We are fighting to win our freedom from England. England was placing taxes on items such as tea, glass, and paint. The leaders in the Virginia Legislature were very upset about the way England was treating the American colonies.
